I Got Tagged

So I have only had a blog for a few weeks now and I have already been tagged. And by none other than my sister Arah who was the one that helped me set up the blog. I was her lame attempt to make sure that I update my blog. Let me just clarify before I begin that this is going to the the last and only time that I respond to a tag so no one better ever do it again.

  1. I served a mission in Columbus Ohio. It was definitely one of the highlights of my life and the people that I met out there changed my life. I grew up a lot and was able to over come a lot of my weaknesses.
  2. When I was on my mission I was in one area and had one companion (Sister Hess) for 11 months. I've never meet anyone that has beat that! That is a long time to be with one person and for the first 4 months of being together we hated each other. She was a head strong tom boy and I was a head strong girly girl. But eventually we were able swallow our pride (especially me) to work things out and I now cherish the time that I was able to spend with her. She was definitely one of the best missionaries I had the privilege of working with and I learned a lot form her.
  3. I LOVE BACON. I can down a package of bacon all by my self and still want more. This is a big problem for me because my Dad has cursed almost our whole family with an allergy to pork. Somehow I've been able to ignore the symptoms until now. The abscess that I get from eating it have gotten too bad, so I'm forced to go off of it. It is going to be one of the biggest trials of my life. There's no meat in the world that tastes as good as bacon.
  4. I will do anything for my baby! I had to go off wheat, dairy, chocolate, citrus, and tomatoes for almost 10 months because Ayden was allergic to them. He had problems throwing up every time he nursed. He has over come the wheat and tomato allergy but I'm still off the rest. Surprisingly hasn't been that difficult, probably because I was doing it for Ayden and not my self. Going off Bacon has been much harder.
  5. I HATE WRITING. I dont like doing letters! On my mission I was able to always con my companions into doing it for me. I dont like texting. Why wast valuable time texting when you can just call them? And I dont like doing posts. Come on now, we all know that the only reason that I have a blog at all is because I was able to con my sister into doing the whole thing for me. And so far I have not been too impressed with her ability to update it for me. Somehow even though my friends and family are well aware of this fact, they continue to act supprised when I do not do these things. Well it is time to get realistic people, you have known me for 28 years now. It is time to come to terms with it. Except it and if you want me to post DO IT FOR ME!!! I may do it once in a while just because I am obsessed with my baby. But dont be supprised when it's not updated once a week.
  6. OK now time to get realistic again. It was a miracle that I was able to come up with 5 things about myself. I am not going to waist any more time trying to come up with another. It was a miracle in its self that you got what you got.

Growing Up!

Adyen is now 9 months old. He has 4 teeth and started crawling at 6 1/2 months. Now he is standing on his own and will walk if you hold his hands. His first word was Mama, so Daddy has been following him around for weeks now saying dadda in his ear. Ayden has a pretty stong personality and we're pretty sure he's not saying it on purpose. He is just growing up so fast. We can't believe how quickly the time has gone.

Just a Baby

Ayden was born at 8:00 am. on February 11, 2007. He was 7 lb 12 oz & 19" long. We are so blessed to have this special boy in our home.
